Dave Whillier

Dave Whillier was born in Aldershot in 1968 and has always lived in and around Surrey and Hampshire. Residents of Camberley and the surrounding area will have seen Dave tread the boards on a number of occasions in musical theatre, and he has also directed and appeared in a number of pantomimes. His favourite role was as Buttons in Cinderella!

With a passion for all sorts of music from funk and soul to rock and roll, Dave joined Radio Lion in 2007 and loves visiting the wards, meeting the patients and learning what sort of music and features they want to hear during their stay.

When not listening to music Dave is equally passionate about his family, photography, his friends and making people smile!

Dave's "claim to fame" is that he appeared on Jim'll Fix It when he was eleven years old...buy him a drink and he'll tell you all about it, buy him two and he'll promise not to!
