Sarah Sysum

Sarah Sysum was one of the very first members to join Radio Lion after its move to the Royal Surrey in 1991. She started her presenting career with the station on a Monday night presenting Monday Music-a-round, with the firstedition of her own programme Be Patient broadcasting on a Monday evening in January 1992.

Since then Sarah has presented a range of programmes including the news programme Spotlight and Radio Lion's flagship magazine programme Lifestyle.

Most recently Sarah has been heard on a Saturday mornings entertaining the population of Compton Ward with the youth programme GU2.

During her many years at the station Sarah has held various management positions including membership secretary and training officer, for which she was instrumental in instigating a new training regime at the station.

Currently Sarah is taking a break from behind the microphone, however she is actively involved in outside broadcasts, such as Guilfest.
