Sharon Bennett

Sharon Bennett joined Radio Lion in 2006 and hosts Tuesday's Lifestyle programme, a lively mix of features including travel, cookery and history topics with a sprinkling of music requests. Something for everyone! She also holds Radio Lion's committee post of Publicity Officer.

Her previous roles have included working with the children's helpline charity 'Childline' and acting as media spokesperson for the Cancer Research UK as part of their 'Sunwatch' campaign. During this time she was also involved with BBC Southern Counties doing regular newspaper reviews for the Sunday show.

During her spare time Sharon enjoys 'messing around on boats' with her husband and two teenage children, studying with the Open University and photography.
