Radio Lion broadcasts to the Royal Surrey County Hospital, keeping patients company throughout their stay. We provide music, entertainment, requests, information and competitions for all our listeners! Radio Lion is on air every evening during the week and all day at weekends.

All our programmes presenter's are trained volunteers and each bring their own style and personality to every show - making it varied for the listener.

There are volunteers who research information for programmes, look out music requests, keep the record library in order, plan fundraising events and many other different jobs which ensure Radio Lion runs smoothly.

Radio Lion has a large record and compact disc library ranging from classical to comtemporary. Whatever the choice, we hope to find and play it!

Listening is easy! Every patient has bedside headphones and handset for tuning into the station. That's why we say, Radio Lion - always by your side!
