Radio Lion has won gold at the Hospital Broadcasting Association Awards in Blackpool. The five-minute piece for Rock Xtra was in the Specialist Music category. We have also been commended for a fifteen-minute piece featuring the highlights from Guilfest in the Special Event category. The award ceremony is held annually in which hospital radio stations compete for the top prize in various categories.
